First Aid Training 2026: Strengthening Safety in Our Child Education Workplace
At Earl Montessori, the safety and well-being of every child and member of our team is one of our highest priorities.
On 2 September 2026, Earl Montessori successfully hosted a full-day First Aid Training session in Bangkok, Thailand, designed to strengthen our team’s knowledge, confidence, and practical skills in responding to medical emergencies—particularly in a child education environment.
Working with young children means that teachers and staff need to be prepared to respond calmly and appropriately when unexpected situations occur. From minor injuries to more serious emergencies, having the right knowledge and knowing what to do in the first few minutes can make an important difference.
What Did the Training Cover?
1. First Aid Basics
Participants learned essential first-aid principles, including assessing emergencies, requesting help, infection prevention, safe patient movement, the Chain of Survival for adults and children, and basic first-aid kit knowledge.
2. Medical Emergencies
The session covered CPR and AED use, choking, asthma, heart attacks, stroke, severe allergic reactions, low blood sugar, seizures, and the recovery position, with a focus on responding safely to emergencies involving children.
3. Injury Emergencies
Participants learned how to respond to common injuries such as bleeding, shock, head and spinal injuries, fractures, sprains, and burns, while keeping children safe and seeking medical assistance when required.
4. Environmental Emergencies
The training also covered animal and insect bites or stings, heat-related emergencies, and poisoning, helping staff prepare for unexpected situations both indoors and outdoors.
